Platforms

Zephyr, nRF Connect SDK, Yocto, ESP-IDF and Buildroot: what each build writes, what Declarable reads from it.

Each platform's page says which files Declarable reads and what it gives back, and names any file it does not read.

  • Zephyr

What west spdx writes for a Zephyr build, what it leaves out, and how Declarable reads the four documents as one list.

  • nRF Connect SDK

The nRF Connect SDK is built on Zephyr and uses west, so it writes the same SPDX documents with the same gaps. What to upload and what the check gives back.

  • Yocto

What create-spdx writes for a Yocto image, why the archive is hard to read by hand, and how Declarable folds it into one component list.

  • ESP-IDF

esp-idf-sbom already writes identifiers for many components. What it leaves out, including Espressif's closed radio libraries, and how Declarable fills in the rest.

  • Buildroot

Buildroot does not write an SBOM file of its own. What its build does write, which part Declarable reads, and which it does not.

Declarable prepares documentation for you to review. It is not legal advice and not certification. You sign your own declaration of conformity.
