Corrections

When we correct a fact, date, article number or deadline we stated wrongly in the legal content we publish, it is listed here with the date and the reason. Typos are not listed. This sits beside what is settled and what is not, which shows the legal state our documents are made under.

The log

  1. 9 October 2026 · /app/incidents/readiness · legal state 2026.10.07-1

The incident readiness card said your national CSIRT checks each Assigned Representative before they can file. That was wrong. It now says the check can take days, runs alongside reporting and does not stop you filing: until it is done, a representative can send up to 20 notifications for your organisation, so if a 24-hour clock is already running, report anyway. The incident page now says the same.

Why: ENISA's Single Reporting Platform FAQ (updated 3 October 2026) says verification "does not prevent an AR from submitting notifications while validation is pending", up to 20 notifications per manufacturer. Source, checked 9 October 2026.
