Cirrus Logic MCU drivers in Zephyr firmware: identifiers and CRA notes
·
What it is
Cirrus Logic MCU drivers
Notes on this component
An nRF Connect SDK addition on top of plain Zephyr: Cirrus Logic's haptic and audio-codec driver sources, vendored at `github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-mcu-drivers`, `path: modules/hal/cirrus-logic`. The manifest's own `userdata.ncs.upstream-url` names it an NCS downstream of Cirrus Logic's own `CirrusLogic/mcu-drivers`, pinned at a commit. NVD has no CPE for it; ask Cirrus Logic (through Nordic's NCS support channel) for the driver's own advisories.
Where it hides in a firmware SBOM
Zephyr lists a west module by its west name, with no PURL or CPE. Vulnerability feeds cannot find it from that listing alone, which is why the SBOM check adds the identifiers below.
The identifiers we assign
pkg:github/CirrusLogic/mcu-drivers@{version}
{version} is filled in from your build. The version is pinned to the upstream commit your build uses.
The SBOM check adds these identifiers to a component your build listed without them.
